7/14/2023 0 Comments Anytime fitness reviews 2015There are two main differences between Anytime and Planet Fitness. Our Gym Comparison Series continues with Anytime Fitness vs Planet Fitness. So I’ve gone ahead and gathered all of that information so you don’t have to. There’s a lot to think about, like pricing, equipment, classes, childcare options, and more. They are have the worst customer service and will not be using them again.Trying to decide between two gyms near your house, work, or kid’s school? Don’t bother robbing customers left right and centre. So I have lost out on money and they went back on their agreement. Then they say they are keeping all the monies because I cancelled the direct debits. Once again you call and no one calls back. Then the freeze ended and then payment had been taken when they haven’t even refunded the previous ones so I cancelled and called them about it. So I was told on the phone that I would receive refunds for both Months, fast forward 6 months later I haven’t received a return and nor did I receive any response to my email chasing it. I was told on the phone that they would refund the October and then a payment for November was taken which should have happened. As per usual very difficult to get through to any one and had to call and email several times. They continued to take money from account when my account was frozen. I had only visited a handful of time in the first year of membership so I decided to cancel, first I was convinced to freeze it. Worst company ever, and go back on their promises. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!īEWARE - Worst company ever- thieves and crooks. Literally the WORST experience I have ever had dealing with a company. I have phoned, emailed, messaged on Instagram (all very politely) I have left feedback through the website twice and have been ignored on all platforms. My membership thankfully came to an end and this was confirmed in an email, though I am still owed a refund, I check my bank and a new unauthorized Direct Debit has been taken from my account, which I have not signed or agreed to. The cleanliness of this site is disgusting. They cancelled the Zumba class and made a PT quit due to her feeling bullied. I have been trying to get into contact with this gym for MONTHS I moved from the High Wycombe site in October 2022 as I moved house, they continued to charge me at the previous site's figure £42.95 instead of the £32 per month that this site charges. AVOID like the plague - if you want to be robbed of your money then go to this gym. □ĪYLESBURY BRANCH If I could leave a minus star review I would. The money you are claiming is owed is only there as it didn't suit whoever to reply to my original email in February enquiring how many more months I had to throw €50 'down the drain'. Well done on finally terminating my membership as I requested months ago. I explained on joining my various issues, I have explained further in response to an email. The fact I was only able to use the gym for maybe an hour in total over the 6 months is neither here nor there, I signed up for 6 months so I paid 6 months, with a freeze in the middle in the hopes that I would be able to use there, no joy □ happens. This was ignored, the young lad I was mailing was most likely told to ignore the request by management in an attempt to keep getting money for services I was not able to use, however there is no 'Maria' there or a 'jill'(friends reference)and the sound staff members were no longer working there so it really wasn't going to happen. I contacted the Clondalkin club on the 9th of February this year by email to find out how long was left on my contract. no one in 2023 is obliged to provide notice once a contractual period has ended! A contract and the terms contained within run from the signing date to the end date and as I was past this you are breaking consumer law which protects me and others You are also in direct contention with the aforementioned consumer rights act and the financial ombudsman. To clarify Anytime Fitness you are actually breaking the law here as a consumer I have the right to request a breakdown of charges which you are legally obliged to provide. "You can cancel a CPA by contacting the business receiving the payments or the card provider." I have contacted the local franchise I was with asking for evidence that I was under contract and to supply a breakdown of these charges and received no response, I have contacted Anytime Fitness directly too and also received no response. They've then said that 30 days notice was required prior to cancelling with directly contradicts the consumer rights act 2015 and the financial ombudsman service which and I quote. had been with them for a year and as such out of contract so left as I no longer required access to this gym. Have passed a non-existent debt onto a debt collection company.
